On Wednesday afternoon (22 September 2021), shortly after 2:30 p.m., the Zug Police Operations Control Centre was alerted about a smoke arising from the "Lindenpark" construction site on the Bahnhofstrasse in Steinhausen.

The affected construction site area had to be subsequently cleared of smoke using a number of ventilators.
