The most powerful photovoltaic system in the canton

Convoltas AG from Baar is planning and implementing a photovoltaic plant with almost 1.8 MVp for Fredi Sidler Transport AG in Rotkreuz.

The most powerful solar system in the canton of Zug is currently on the Risi site in Baar – but it will lose it’s leading position next spring. The photovoltaic plant of Risi Immobilien AG amounts to a total of around 1.4 megawatt at its peak (the maximum electrical output of the plant). According to a recent press release, Convoltas AG from Baar is planning and implementing a photovoltaic system with a peak of almost 1.8 megawatts for Fredi Sidler Transport AG at Industriestrasse 21 in Rotkreuz.

This system will be connected to the grid in the spring of 2023, and will cover the energy needs of around 430 single-family homes. Convoltas AG is thereby beating its own record from 2020, and is once again implementing the largest photovoltaic system in the canton of Zug.
