Restaurants earn additional points
There are additional points for some restaurants in canton Zug In the new edition of the of the "Gault-Millau" gourmet guide for 2022, which was published on Monday.
Urs Heller, editor-in-chief of the "Gault-Millau", was extremely impressed by Tanja and Franz Körperich from the "Löwen" in Menzingen. The couple – she from southern Germany, he an "Ossi" (former East German) from Görlitz – performed almost unbelievable things in the oldest inn in the canton of Zug. Franz Körperich is actually alone in the kitchen. "How he achieves this performance in this quality remains a mystery to us," says Urs Heller. A puzzle that has now been rewarded with 16 Gault-Millau points.
The "Sternen" in Walchwil, with chef Noémie Bernard and her parents Giorgio (Saucier) and Anita (Service), has now received 15 points.
