According to the Zug police, a driver behind them realised this too late, and crashed into the vehicle in front of her. This car was in turn pushed forward into another car.

As a result of the rear-end collision, a 54-year-old man had to be taken to hospital for medical checks. The others involved were fortunately uninjured. Two of the vehicles were no longer drivable, however, and had to be transported away.
