Overturned trailer closed motorway for 2 hours

An accident occurred at the end of the A4a motorway near Sihlbrugg on Wednesday morning. The motorway had to be temporarily closed.

There was an accident on the A4a motorway between Walterswil and Baar at 8.45 am on Wednesday morning. A car and trailer came into a tailspin on the wet road, whereupon the trailer tipped to the side. The gravel that it was transporting then spread all over the roadway. The 22-year-old driver was fortunately uninjured.

The motorway had to be temporarily closed, but was able to be re-opened as normal from 11 a.m.

Employees of a private towing company, the road maintenance service and the Zug police were deployed to the accident.
