Overtook, glancing collision, argument and drove away

A glancing collision took place between two vehicles during an overtaking manoeuvre on the Blasenbergstrasse. The driver who caused the accident stopped briefly, but then drove away. The police are looking for witnesses.

The incident occurred on Tuesday morning, December 17th, 2019 at around 7:30 a.m. According to the Zug police, a 46-year-old was driving uphill on the Blasenbergstrasse when she was overtaken by a second driver. There was a glancing collision between the vehicles. The two participants stopped, and there was an animated discussed about what had happened. The driver who caused the accident then continued driving uphill without leaving her personal details. Her vehicle is said to be a dark-coloured estate car.

Any persons who have observed the overtaking manoeuvre or the dispute between the two drivers, or who can provide any information about the overtaking vehicle are requested to call the police command centre on 041 728 41 41. In particular, the police are looking for a pedestrian who spoke to another witness after the incident.
