New headmistress of Cantonal School appointed

Pecij-Glisic studied bio-chemistry at the University of the Zurich and at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology (ETH) before completing a teacher-training course for secondary-school pupils. She has been teaching mathematics and chemistry at secondary schools since 2004 and since 2013 she has been deputy headmistress at the Cantonal School on Alpenquai in Lucerne. Between 2016 and 2018 she took a course in school leadership at the University of St Gallen.
 

In addition to this appointment, Katharina Pretnar, who has been teaching at the school and been head of quality control there since 2017, will be joining the school’s senior management team, following in the footsteps of Lavinia Eisenring.
