Migros supermarkets & restaurants to open as early as 7 a.m.

The Migros Lucerne Cooperative will be opening its restaurants and supermarkets in Central Switzerland from 7 a.m. on Friday. In this way, customer frequencies should be better distributed throughout the day before the Christmas holidays.

The Migros Cooperative Central Switzerland expects to see many customers before the festive season. That's why 66 supermarkets, including Migros partners and VOI, as well as 12 Migros restaurants and Take Aways, will open at 7 a.m. from 18^th  to 31^st December. As the Migros Lucerne Cooperative informed on Wednesday, this should help to better distribute the high visitor frequencies that are to be expected before the Christmas holidays and the New Year's Eve weekend throughout the day.

The Migros branches and restaurants in Central Switzerland will open as early as 7 a.m. On the following days:

• Friday and Saturday, 18^th and 19^th December 2020
• Monday to Thursday, 21^st to 24^th December 2020
• Wednesday and Thursday, 30^th and 31^st December 2020

Migros recommends planning your purchases early, making use of marginal hours in the morning or noon, and shopping alone in order to alleviate capacity constraints. The protection concepts will continue to apply, and will be supplemented by additional security personnel before the holidays, says Migros.
