Inebriated car drivers and e-scooter driver on the road

Several inebriated road users were on the road in the canton of Zug In the night before Saturday, one of them with a alcohol reading of more than two pro-mil. An e-scooter driver was also involved in an accident, and two car drivers had their driver's license confiscated.

At 11:45 p.m. on Friday evening, an alcoholised e-scooter driver crashed on the Baarer Fussweg in Zug. The 33-year-old drove the e-scooter against a curb and fell as a result. The Zug Ambulance Service treated the man and then took him to hospital.

Earlier, shortly before 9 p.m., a police patrol checked a motorist on the Gartenstrasse in Zug. According to the police report, the breath alcohol measurement that was carried out on the 54-year-old man showed 0.9 per thousand, respectively 0.45 mg/l. The man had to hand over his driver's license.

At 1.15 a.m. on Saturday, the police also received a report that a car was weaving about haphazardly on the Luzernerstrasse in Cham. The police detected alcohol while checking during the control of the driver, and the breath alcohol measurement that was subsequently carried out showed a value of 2.02 per thousand, which corresponds to 1.07 mg/l. This man's driver's license was also confiscated.
