Important communication from the Zug Health Authority
The Federal Council has declared a “special situation” with immediate effect in accordance with the Epidemic Act. The spread of the Corona virus should be slowed down. With the support of the Cantonal Management Staff, the Health Department of Zug is immediately implementing the following measures:
Orders with immediate effect for the Canton of Zug
- The ice hockey games in the Bossard Arena shall take place without spectators. Public viewings, such as in the Freiruum Zug, are prohibited.
- All events with more than 1,000 people will be cancelled.
- According to the directive from the Federal Government, this measure will initially apply until March 15, 2020.
Events with fewer than 1,000 participants
- A general risk assessment will be carried out for events with fewer than 1,000 participants: such events are allowed up to and including Monday, March 2, 2020.
- The known hygiene regulations must be observed.
