Corona case in the Goldermatten kindergarten

A child from the Goldermatten kindergarten in Steinhausen tested positive for Covid-19 last weekend. The kindergarten can be operated until further notice, however, and the Zug cantonal doctor is involved.

In a press release, the municipality of Steinhausen reports that a child from the Goldermatten kindergarten tested positive for COVID-19 last weekend. On the order of the cantonal doctor, the child is currently subject to a ten-day quarantine with its family.

The press release says that the cantonal doctor is involved in the case. The Goldermatten kindergarten can continue to operate until further notice, however, and all the parents of the children attending the Goldermatten kindergarten were sent a parental letter on Monday, 15 June. The risk to other persons was also discussed with the cantonal doctor. On the recommendation of the cantonal doctor, no further measures are to be taken in the kindergartens or the Steinhausen school at the moment,.

Should any further measures be necessary, these will be carried out in consultation with the cantonal doctor.
