Call for witnesses: girl injured after collision with car

A girl cyclist was injured In a collision with a car. After a short check, however, the driver of a light grey Mercedes drove on. The police are now looking for witnesses.

On Friday morning (26 November 2021), at 7:20 a.m., there was an accident between a car and a bicycle at the intersection of the Knonauerstrasse and the Lorzenparkstrasse. The 13-year-old cyclist was riding on the Knonauerstrasse in the direction of Cham when a car turned from the Lorzenparkstrasse into the Knonauerstrasse. The driver of the light grey Mercedes thereby disregarded the right of way, which resulted in a collision with the cyclist. The driver of the vehicle stopped and inquired about the well-being of the girl, who didn’t notice any injuries at first. The man then drove away. The 13-year-old went to the hospital for a check-up, where it turned out she had suffered minor injuries in the collision.

Call for witnesses
The police are looking for witnesses to identify the driver, Anyone who can provide information about the driver of the light grey Mercedes or the course of the accident is asked to report to the Operations Control Centre of the Zug Police (T 041 728 41 41). In particular, the driver is also called upon to report to the police.
