A Hünenberg cheese is one of the 4,000 best in the world

Lustenberger & Dürst, the leading Swiss cheese affineur from Hünenberg See, has won a Supergold award at this year's World Cheese Awards in Trondheim, Norway.

Cheese affineur Lustenberger and Dürst, based on the Langrütistrasse in Hünenberg See and the leading Swiss cheese affineur, has once again achieved impressive success at this year's World Cheese Awards in Trondheim, Norway. With Jura Montagne, Lustenberger and Dürst won one of the coveted Supergold awards.

Super gold for Jura Montagne
The Supergold award placed Jura Montagne as the best cheese in its category, among the over 4,000 types of cheese in the world. It impressed the jury with its wild, spicy taste, which is characterised by the herbs of the raised moors in the heart of the Jura Mountains.

In addition to this top award, other cheese specialties from the company were also awarded gold, silver and bronze, according to a recent communiqué.

Lustenberger and Dürst have also won a total of three Gold Awards for outstanding cheeses:

3. Lustenberger 1862 fruchtig-würzig (aromatic and hearty)
