70-year-old man suffers life-threatening injuries

A worker suffered life-threatening injuries after falling down a flight of stairs. He had to be resuscitated.

At around 9 p.m. on Tuesday evening, for reasons that are still unclear, a 70-year-old employee of a security company fell several metres down a flight of stairs while walking around the Lüssiweg in Zug. According to the Zug Police, he thereby suffered head injuries and had to be resuscitated on the spot.

A work colleague immediately rushed to help the man and alerted the emergency services. After receiving medical first aid from by the Zug ambulance service, the man, who was in a critical condition, was taken to a hospital in a neighbouring canton. Employees from the Zug rescue service, REGA and the Zug police were on duty.
