63-year-old woman dies after sustaining head injuries in fall from balcony

It is sad to have to report that a 63-year-old woman succumbed to the serious injuries she sustained after falling three metres from her balcony last week.

The incident happened at 11.30 am last Sunday, 6 October, as the woman was tending plants on her balcony at a property on St Oswalds Gasse.

It was as a result of serious injuries to the head she sustained that she was flown to a specialist clinic beyond the cantonal boundary.

Alas, later that day the hospital reported she had died.
