3 out of CHF 10 million francs still available in the Corona Fund

The City of Zug made an aid fund of CHF 10 million available for those affected by Corona in the summer of 2020. Corona relief measures in the meantime have only amounted to CHF 7.275 million. New application forms for assistance are still available online

The new application forms for assistance in the areas of real estate, culture, social services, child, youth, family and urban development for the period from July 2021 to February 2022 can now be downloaded from www.stadtzug.ch/coronafonds, as the city of Zug has now announced in a statement. Applications can be submitted until 6 May 2022.

"There is still a need for further support measures," says city councillor (Stadtrat) André Wicki, head of the Finance Department, in the statement. Of the total of CHF 10 million from the Corona Fund for companies and organisations that have not received any support from either the Confederation or the canton, the city of Zug has so far provided around CHF 7.3 million.

Together with the unredeemed Pro-Zug vouchers, with a value of around CHF 0.3 million (from an original CHF 3 million), which will be returned to the Corona Fund, a total of around CHF 3 million is currently left for further support measures.
