29-year-old man robbed at knifepoint

A 29-year-old man was robbed at knifepoint early on Saturday morning.

The incident happened at around 5.30 am in the Kirchbühl area of the municipality as two men approached their victim, threatening him with a knife. After robbing him of several hundreds of francs, they fled in the direction of Zugerstrasse. Fortunately, the victim was not injured.

One of the men was described as being between the ages of 25-35, 180 cm tall, slim with a dark complexion and frizzly hair. At the time of the attack he was wearing brown trousers, glasses and a baseball cap and had an unusual gait.

The second man was also thought to be between the ages of 25-35, also around 180 cm tall, slim and with a dark complexion. At the time of the attack he was wearing dark blue jeans, a black jacket and a dark woollen or material hat.

The police have since appealed to anyone who may have been in the area or noticed anyone acting suspiciously at that time to contact them without delay on 041 728 41 41.
