21-year-old man arrested after drugs and cash found in flat

Police detained a 21-year-old man after he was found to have been acting suspiciously in the municipality last Sunday morning.

When officers subsequently searched an address in the area, they came across 400 grammes of amphetamine, 1,500 LSD papers, six kilogrammes of marijuana, hashish and other narcotic substances, as well as a number of ecstasy tablets, not to mention cash amounting to several thousands of francs and euros.

The young man in question, who turned out to be a Swiss national, was duly detained in custody pending trial.
