Iffelen- and St. Nicholas will process through Hünenberg

In early December, St. Nicholas will process through Hünenberg village accompanied by “Iffelen” (mitre-shaped decorated lanterns) and “Trychlern” (bell ringers), and will be ceremonially welcomed in the Holy Ghost church. This will be followed by the Chlausumzug (St. Nicholas procession through the village) with Trychler, Geisslechlöpfer (men cracking whips) and “Iffelen”.
