82-year-old driver hits cyclist's rear wheel

A car driver and a cyclist collided in Steinhausen on Wednesday morning, whereby the cyclist was seriously injured.

A 82-year-old driver drove into a cyclist at the Zugerstrasse/Knonauerstrasse roundabout in Steinhausen on Wednesday morning. The 82-year-old woman driver failed to notice the 22-year-old cyclist in front of her and hit the rear of his bike, according to a report from the Zug Police.

The cyclist fell and suffered serious injuries. Members of the Zug ambulance service attended to him at the scene of the accident before taking him to hospital.
