Burglars make off with more than CHF 50,000' worth of goods

Burglars broke into three shops in the Zugerland Shopping centre in the early hours of Wednesday 31 October, making off with goods to the value of more than CHF 50,000.

As the Zug Police confirmed, the thieves, at least two of them, made their way into the premises between 2.00am and 3.00 am and then broke into three shops, making off with electronic equipment, bottles of perfume, cigarettes and cash. The police think that, bearing in mind the quantity of goods stolen, a large vehicle must have been used to transport it all away.

As of last Wednesday evening, the police appealed to anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the area at that time to call them on 041 728 41 41.
