Car ends up crashing into wall of house

A car ended up crashing into the wall of house on Tuesday afternoon after it had previously been involved in collision with another car.

The incident happened shortly before 5pm on Tuesday afternoon as a 75-year-old woman driver manoeuvred into Dammstrassse from a stationary position at the side of the road. Unfortunately, she failed to notice an approaching vehicle, with which she was involved in a collision, causing her subsequently to drive into the wall of a house.

As a result of the accident, the elderly driver sustained slight injuries for which she was treated in hospital.

Considerable damage was caused not only to the two cars involved but the multiple-family dwelling-unit, too.
