90-year-old woman injured after being hit by car

A 90-year-old woman was injured after she was hit by a car on Artherstrasse on Thursday afternoon.

The incident happened shortly after 12.15pm as a 23-year-old woman driver was making her way south in the Walchwil direction. It was not far from the bus stop near the Theater Casino that the elderly woman suddenly started to cross the road, not on a pedestrian crossing, and was hit by the car as she did so.

She was subsequently taken to hospital to be treated for her injuries.
