28-year-old man suffers cut wound after being asked for money




A 28-year-old man suffered a cut wound after two men asked him to hand over money at knifepoint in a car park in the city late on Wednesday evening.

The incident happened at around 10pm at the car park on Terrassenweg close to where Industriestrasse and Gotthardstrasse meet.

It was as the victim got out of his car that he was asked to hand over money by two men, one of whom was holding a knife. Indeed, as mentioned, the victim suffered a knife wound.

The police have since issued an appeal to the public to assist them in finding the perpetrators.

One man is described as 180 centimetres tall, aged between 25 and 35, and wearing a black puffer jacket and grey jogging trousers. He also wore a dark scarf covering his face and was wearing a cap.

The second man was described as also being around180 centimetres tall and aged between 25 and 32. He was also wearing a black puffer jacket and dark jogging trousers. It was thought they both spoke an eastern European language.

As mentioned, the police would like to hear from anyone who may have seen anyone acting suspiciously in that area of the city on Wednesday evening by calling them on 041 728 41 41.
