Thieves make off with clothes worth over CHF 100,000

Thieves made off with clothes worth more than CHF 100,000 after they broke into a city-centre store over the weekend.
 
The thieves broke into the Herren Globus fashion store on Bahnhofstrasse in the city sometime between 7.15 pm on Saturday evening and 7 am on Sunday morning. Bearing in mind the quantity of goods stolen, the police assume that a large vehicle will have been needed to transport the items away and that a number of people must have been involved.
 
The police have issued an appeal for anyone who may have seen or heard anyone acting suspiciously on Bahnhofstrasse or Poststrasse between the afore-mentioned hours over the weekend to call them without delay on 041 728 41 41.
