Stolen items retrieved

German shepherd police dog Wyk certainly did his stuff last weekend, helping to retrieve stolen items after two incidents of theft.

In the first case, Wyk was involved with his handler looking around the near vicinity of a terraced house on Eichmattstrasse in Hünenberg following a break-in there on Saturday 22 September. Thanks to the dog’s sharp sense of smell, he was able to sniff out a bracelet which had been stolen.

Then, barely 24 hours later, he found another item which had been stolen, in this case a bag left on a bench by a lady swimmer in Oberwil. Within minutes, Wyk found the bag which had been discarded in bushes.
