Police issue photofit picture of man wanted for handbag theft

The Zug police have issued a photofit picture of the man they are seeking in connection with theft of a handbag containing jewellery to the value of CHF 30,000 last week.

A 53-year-old woman had her handbag snatched as she walked home on Tuesday evening.
The incident took place at around 7.15pm in the Himmelreich area of Aegeristrasse, the thief making off towards the station with the handbag containing jewellery to the tune of CHF 30,000.

The police have since issued and appeal to anyone who may have information which could be helpful to them in their investigation.

The perpetrator is described as a man between the ages of 25 and 30, of slim build, between 180 and 185 centimetres tall, clean shaven with dark eyes, his black hair gelled straight back. As to his clothing, he was wearing a black, presumably leather, jacket and jeans, the colour of which was not specified. He was also wearing light shoes. As to the handbag, this was light grey.
