New secretary to the council appointed

The municipality of Baar has announced it has appointed a new secretary to the council, Andrea Bertolosi-Lehr, who will assume her new duties on 1 January 2019. In taking on these responsibilities, she will be following in the footsteps of Walter Lipp, who has held this position for 17 years.

In a statement issued by the council on Monday, it was mentioned that Bertolosi-Lehr, who was born in1967 and comes from the canton of Schwyz, had been appointed through a recruitment agency. Last week, on Wednesday 26 September, the council made its final choice, concluding they had found a suitably qualified and competent secretary.

Bertolosi-Lehr was previously secretary to the municipality of Adliswil in the canton of Zurich, so brings with her the necessary experience, not to mention the right personality, to take on this demanding role.
