"Extraordinary Treasures of Nature" - 4 October 2012

Goldsmith Maya Sulger and Natalie Albrecht from ZUG4YOU.ch  hosted an evening to showcase Sulger's  workshop and atelier featuring special guests Mr. Yves Thomann, pearl expert and Mr. Knut Becker, gemstone specialist. These guests told fascinating stories of how they source these extraordinary treasures of nature from places around the world.
 
The evening was part apero, part show and tell and part hands on! The guests enjoyed specialty cocktails and mini hotdogs while trying out the tools of the jewelry trade and looking at beautiful, one of a kind jewelry pieces. Sulger displayed how she develops her exquisite items – from coming up with the design to purchasing the gold and gemstones to making the piece.
