The Zug Club of Toastmasters International provides a mutually supportive and positive English speaking environment in which every member has the opportunity to develop public speaking and team-work skills, which in turn build self-confidence and personal growth in professional and community development.
The Zug Club was founded in 1989 and is the second chapter to be chartered in Switzerland, after the first Zurich Club in 1973. The present membership of the Zug Club comprises 30 men and women from fourteen national and cultural regions. Most are engaged in professions in which English is at least one of the prominent languages in use. The Club is always ready to welcome new members and would be pleased to issue invitations to interested and eligible persons to join.
You are welcome to attend our next meeting as a guest and experience with us the fun and excitement of listening to speeches and addressing an audience in English. You are free to participate in the challenge of spontaneous table topics or just share the enjoyment of the evening. Meetings run from 7.00 p.m. to about 9.30 p.m., and include a break for an informal dinner. Afterwards we share a relaxed discussion over a coffee or drink with friends.
