Zuger Messe stand with guest of honour

Bishop Felix Gmür visited the stand of the Catholic Church Zug on the opening day of the Zuger Messe and took time for dialogue with the guests.

"This is church!" was this year's theme of the Roman Catholic Church stand at the Zuger Messe (Zug Trade Fair). With numerous portraits of members from the various parishes in Zug, it wanted to show that it is the people who make up the church.

This is also the opinion of Bishop Felix Gmür of the Basel diocese: "It is the people who give the Church of God a concrete face," he said. "The diversity among the faithful is great and everyone should be able to feel at home. That is why the Church is currently grasping and discussing the needs of people worldwide, as well as in our diocese, and wants to renew itself in togetherness."

There is also a small gift to take away and a competition with interesting prizes on the stand of the Roman Catholic Church Zug.
