Zug police deployed to Knonau

A car crashed into the guardrail on the A4 motorway. No one was injured, but the car is now only fit for the scrapyard.

According to the press release of the Zug Law Enforcement Authorities, the accident occurred on the A4 motorway between the Blegi junction and Affoltern am Albis on Thursday morning, June 4, at 7 a.m. The above-mentioned section of the motorway is patrolled by the Zug police.

The vehicle suffered total damage in the accident between the Blegi junction and Affoltern am Albis.

For reasons that are not yet known, a 55-year-old driver lost control of his car and crashed into the crash barrier on the right-hand side of the road. The vehicle spun around and came to a halt on the right-hand and breakdown lanes. The driver was uninjured in the accident, but the car was a complete write-off.

The right lane had to be closed for the recovery of the vehicle, which in turn led to some disruption in the morning traffic.
