Zug police can shine once again tonight

The Zug police caused a stir far beyond the borders of Switzerland with their dance video for the Jerusalema Challenge. Five police officers will once again perform the dance at the Swiss Music Awards (SMA) to the sounds of the master KG), who will be switched live from South Africa into the broadcast.

 "The joy was great," says media spokesman Frank Kleiner when asked how the Zug police reacted to the request of the SMA organizers to perform at the Swiss Music Awards in Zurich's Hallenstadion on Friday evening (8.15 pm, live on 3+). "It's a unique opportunity for us to experience something like this." This is especially true in view of the fact that dancing is not their core competence, but we can say that the Zug police are also "very strong" in their professional area of responsibility, added Kleiner with a smile.

In addition to Master KG, the musical highlights at the SMA will be provided by Pegasus and Beatrice Egli. The 145-minute live show will be moderated by Nik Hartmann.
