Well-known tennis names to appear

In addition to Marc-Andrea Hüsler, Lucas Pouille and Dominic Stricker, other big names such as Juan Manuel Cerundolo and Jan-Lennard Struff will play at the Tennis Club Zug.

The field of participants for the Finaport Zug Open (24–31 July) has now been published. In addition to Marc-Andrea Hüsler, Lucas Pouille and Dominic Stricker, other well-known names of the ATP Tour, such as Juan Manuel Cerundolo and Jan-Lennard Struff, will also appear at the Tennis Club Zug. The Finaport Zug Open is a tennis tournament played on clay courts, and the first edition will now take place at the Tennis Club Zug.

Marc-Andrea Hüsler from Zurich is travelling to Zug in strong form. With the best ATP ranking of his career and impressive performances at the ATP 250 tournament in Bastad, Sweden, he is one of the top favourites. Hüsler also qualified for the main table of a Grand Slam tournament at Wimbledon for the first time at the end of June.­

Six players reach the main table via the qualification round. The tournament organisation also has three wildcards at its disposal.

Tickets for the Finaport Zug Open are available at www.zugopen.ch/tickets or at the box office. No ticket is required for the public area, which will have food stalls and bars. The schedule of the tournament day will be published the evening before on the website www.zugopen.ch and on social media.
