Unsolved burglaries in Ägerital
Unknown persons were active in the Aegeri valley several times during the night to Thursday. The two municipal administration buildings were also affected by the unwanted visitors. The police are looking for witnesses.
During the night leading to Thursday, December 12, between 10:30 pm and 4:00 am, unknown perpetrators forcibly obtained access to the premises of the municipal administration of Unterägeri und Oberägeri, according to a report by the Zug police. At both locations, they forced several doors open inside the building and searched the offices. Burglars also successfully used force to enter a beverage shop in Unterägeri, where they stole a safe, cash, cigarettes and alcoholic drinks. The perpetrators also tried to break into two more shops in Unterägeri, but did not succeed. The amount stolen in the three burglaries is more than CHF 10,000. Property damage of a few thousand francs was also caused. According to the investigation so far, the break-ins are likely to have been carried out by the same perpetrator.
