Unfortunate end to a learning trip

A learner driver came off the road during a failed driving manoeuvre, broke through a hedge and crashed into a house wall. Nobody was injured, but the property damage is considerable.

On Monday afternoon, March 16, shortly before 3:30 p.m., a 19-year-old woman was learning to drive with her father, as the Zug police stated in a report. In Baar, the young woman attempted to turn left from the Hans Waldmann-Strasse into the Blickensdorferstrasse. In the process, she lost control of her vehicle, broke through a hedge on the left side of the road and then crashed into the side of a house. Nobody was injured, but property damage to the car, the hedge and the house facade amounts to around CHF 20,000. The learner driving licence of the 19-year-old was confiscated on behalf of the administrative authority (road traffic office).
