Two injured as collision causes car to roll over several times

Two people were injured and a third person suffered from shock after two cars were involved in a collision which caused one of them to roll over several times.

The incident happened shortly after 8.15 am on Monday morning as one driver intended to cross from Untermühlestrasse to Langackerstrasse in the municipality. Unfortunately, as he did so, he failed to notice a car approaching on Knonauerstrasse. In the ensuing collision, the latter car rolled over several times but ended up on its wheels. Its occupants, a sixty-year-old driver and a woman passenger sustained injuries and were subsequently taken to hospital. The other driver suffered from shock.

As a result of the incident the scene was only passable by one vehicle at a time. As to the damage caused, this amounted to CHF 30,000, both vehicles having to be towed away.
