Early on Monday morning, December 2, three men tried to open the doors of parked cars on the Hans-Waldmannstrasse in Baar. According to a report from the Zug police, they found one car to be unlocked, and stole items from it, including a wristwatch, two bottle of perfumes, cigarette lighters and coins. Thanks to a report from a member of the public, the police were able to stop and check two persons at the scene. After a brief search, the third man, who was hiding under a car, was also arrested. They still had some of the stolen property with them, while the law enforcement officers found some other items under a parked vehicle.
The accused are three men between the ages of 18 and 34 from Tunisia, Morocco and Serbia. They will now appear before the public prosecutor of the Canton of Zug.
