Thousands of corona virus measures’ opponents expected on Sunday

The City of Zug has approved a demonstration on 13 June in connection with the vote on the Covid-19 law.

A demonstration organised by the "Silent Protest" (Stiller Protest) association will take place on Sunday, 13 June, in Zug. According to the "Zentralplus" platform, the City of Zug has approved the rally, and several thousand participants are expected.

The demonstrators will gather at Zug railway station from 1 p.m. and then march to the Stierenmarkt (bull market), where various speeches are planned. The Zug police will be supported on Sunday by units from other central Swiss cantons.

The opponents of corona virus measures already met in Zug at the beginning of February,. According to the police, 800 people attended the protest on the Landsgemeindeplatz in Zug at the time.
