The almost 40-year-old municipal centre is to be replaced

The corresponding loan for the new municipal centre project will be voted on at the upcoming municipal meeting,. An additional loan for the new asylum accommodation in Bösch will also being discussed.

The financial statement for 2021 will be presented at the municipal meeting in Hünenberg on Monday, 20 June (8 p.m., Heinrich von Hünenberg hall). This shows a surplus of around CHF 12 million.

In addition, two loan requests are to be dealt with. Voters can decide on around CHF 2.7 million for the project planning of a new municipal building, as well as a residential and commercial building. 15 apartments are to be built, of which 30% comply with the regulations for affordable housing. Secondly, an additional loan for the replacement of the asylum accommodation in Bösch and for a photovoltaic system will be presented., the realisation of the project was approved at a cost of CHF 1.4 million in 2015.

Since then, various factors have resulted in the loan being no longer sufficient. The introduction to the invitation to the municipal assembly mentions, for example, the corona pandemic and the current market situation as a result of the Ukraine war. Both events have caused delivery difficulties and price increases. In addition, structural adjustments to react to various objections had also led to a cost overrun. The municipal council is therefore applying for an additional loan of CHF 280,000.

The meeting agenda also includes resolutions on partial revisions of the Music School regulations and the school doctor regulations.
