The police found and secured narcotics and cash during the search of an apartment. A Swiss man was temporarily arrested.
Last Wednesday (8 September 2021), the Zug police arrested a suspected drug dealer in the municipality of Steinhausen. During the house search that was ordered by the Public Prosecutor's Office of the Canton of Zug, around 1.3 kilograms of marijuana, 700 grams of hashish, two smaller indoor hemp plants and several thousand francs in cash were found and seized in the accused’s apartment.
The Public Prosecutor's Office of the Canton of Zug has now opened criminal proceedings against the 42-year-old Swiss for violations of the Narcotics Act.
The man was released from custody after the interrogation.
