Südstrasse in Baar to be closed for five nights

In order to strengthen the support for the SBB Neufeld (railway) bridge, the Südstrasse in Baar (which leads to the A4a motorway), will be closed to all traffic during the nights from December 15th to 20^th, between 7.30 pm and 5.30 am.

The central pillar of the Neufeld SBB bridge in Baar is being strengthened.

The existing support for the SBB Neufeld railway bridge has to be strengthened, and the work will have to be carried out from road, explains the Construction department of the Canton of Zug. "For reasons of space and safety, the Südstrasse will have to be closed for several nights," the communique continues. The Südstrasse will therefore be closed to all traffic during the nights from Sunday to Friday, December 15 to 20, between 7.30 p.m. and 5.30 a.m. The Südstrasse will be normally passable outside these times. Traffic will be redirected accordingly.
