Some eggs thrown and bicycles overturned

Many scary figures were out and about in the canton of Zug on the night before All Saints' Day. Most children and adolescents behaved correctly, however, according to the Zug police.

The Zug Police have reported on the Halloween night: there were only a few cases of eggs being thrown, but they also had to hold "numerous conversations" with revellers. The police officers were increasingly deployed around the canton in the night before Tuesday, 1st November.

They approached several roaming groups and checked them for dangerous objects and material that could cause damage to property. During the conversations, the law enforcement authorities informed the young people that any damage to property could have far-reaching consequences.

Up to Tuesday morning, the police only received a few reports of property damage, the report continues. In most of these cases, eggs had been thrown against walls and house facades.

Bicycle vandals escaped
A larger group in the municipality of Cham had bicycles in their sights: the young people knocked over many of these. The youths then fled when the police wanted to check them. A 14-year-old student was stopped by the police, and was later and handed over to his mother after questioning.

Many of the children and adolescents encountered were behaving correctly, according to the statement. However, it was striking that many of the young people were masked on the road (??!!).
