Single-vehicle accident in the morning mist

A newly-qualified  driver drove head-on into a road light, and had to be taken to hospital with minor injuries.

According to a reports from the Zug law enforcement authorities, the accident occurred in the municipality of Hünenberg on Tuesday morning, 10 November, shortly after 7.15 a.m.. An 18-year-old woman was driving along the St. Wolfgang-Strasse in the direction of the Heiligkreuz cloister. The young woman lost control of her vehicle on the straight section of the road, and crashed into a road lighting fixture on the right side of the road.

Abrupt end to the journey: the car crashed into a road light

The young woman suffered minor injuries, and had to be taken to hospital by the Zug Ambulance Service. The damage to vehicle and the road light amounted to tens of thousands of francs.

Employees of the Zug ambulance service, a private towing company, an electricity company and the Zug police were on duty.
