Seba Bank settled in historic building

The decision to allow Bitcoin as a means of payment was taken in 2016 in the building that, until recently, used to house the City Administration and Registry Office of Zug: Zug then became the "Crypto Valley". The Seba Bank AG (formerly Seba Crypto AG), have now moved into the historic Stadthaus (City house) on the Kolinplatz. "We are thrilled to be able to offer bank accounts from the Zug Stadthaus, and to welcome customers and visitors here," writes the bank in a statement. They want to continue the tradition of this house. "We have renovated the premises with great respect for history, and would like to thank the City of Zug for the confidence they have shown in us," says Guido Bühler, the CEO of Seba Bank.

For the financial institution with around 70 employees, the Stadthaus is more than just a representative seat. It also houses the infrastructure that is necessary for a bank specialising in Digital Assets: solutions for the storing and trading of assets in a digital form. From January 2020, information events and courses are also to be offered on a regular basis to all those interested in blockchain and digital systems. Seba received a Swiss Bank and Securities Dealer license In August - the first to be issued to a financial services firm focused on digital assets and cryptocurrencies.
