Quai Pasa to remain open until 2031
The Quai Pasa buvette will remain a permanent fixture on the shores of Lake Zug.
The City of Zug has re-issued the Special Use Concession (Sondernutzungskonzession) for the buvette (snack bar) on the Schützenmatt gravel area, valid for the next five years, to the previous operators, Quai Pasa, as it announced on Wednesday.
‘The Buvette has become an integral part of the cityscape and is a popular meeting place for all generations,’ said Barbara Gysel, the responsible city councillor (Stadträtin).

According to the city, the Buvette contributes to the revitalisation of the Alpenquai area and enhances the feeling of safety. As an added advantage, vandalism and littering have also declined in the immediate area.
The concession for the years 2027 to 2031 was put out to public tender, but the only application received was from the previous operator, Quai Pasa.
The reopening will take place on the 27th March, and according to the announcement, a new mobile building is planned for 2027.
