Police vehicle collides with van

While driving on an important police mission,  there was an accident with a patrol car on an urgent business trip and another vehicle. There was property damage of several thousand francs.

On Saturday morning, shortly before 10:45 a.m., there was an accident in the city of Zug between a police vehicle and a van. As the Zug police reports in a media release, the patrol car was travelling on the Gubelstrasse in the direction of the Industriestrasse on an urgent police mission, i.e. was travelling with the blue light and siren switched on. At the same time, a van was driving along the Baarerstrasse in the direction of Baar.

For reasons that are still unknown there was then a lateral/frontal collision between the two vehicles at the intersection of the Gubelstrasse and the Baarerstrasse. Fortunately, no one was injured, but there was property damage to the amount of several thousand Swiss francs. The exact causes of the accident are still unknown, and an investigation has been started.
