Police solve the series of break-ins at various leisure facilities

Two lakeside swimming areas and three mini golf courses were recently targeted by burglars. The series of break-ins has now been solved, according to a report from the Zug Police.
 

There were break-ins at three mini golf courses in Cham, Unterägeri and Zug, as well as at two swimming pools in Cham in mid-October 2025 (we reported at the time). During the investigation, two young people who do not live in the canton of Zug came to the attention of the police.

The series of crimes has now been solved, as the Zug Police announced on Wednesday: in close cooperation with the Zug Cantonal Youth Prosecution Service (Jugendanwaltschaft), the two suspects were arrested at their place of residence last Monday.

When questioned by the police, they confessed and cooperated. The two 16-year-olds must now answer to the respective youth prosecution service.

The youths broke into the three mini golf courses and stole several hundred Swiss francs. They also broke into the two lakeside swimming pools, but were unable to steal anything there.
