Police called out to spate of incidents of domestic violence

Police were called out to number of incidents of domestic violence over the weekend. These led to one woman being arrested and two other people requiring medical treatment.

The first incident occurred on Friday evening when a woman was subjected to being pushed around by her husband.

In another case, police were called out to another incident on Sunday morning when an emergency psychiatrist had to be called out to attend a man in an agitated mental state.

Later that same day a row broke out among siblings, with one young woman having to be taken to hospital for treatment to injuries she sustained.

Scarcely one hour later a woman in a state of intoxication set about her husband leading to him sustaining slight injuries. She was duly detained by police officers for a while.

Two hours later the police were called out yet again, this time to a couple whose argument led to blows being delivered.
