Police call for witnesses

A 10-year-old girl was hit by a car on the Oberneuhofstrasse in Baar on Monday evening, and was seriously injured. The girl was taken to a hospital in a neighbouring canton by the Zug Ambulance Service.

A 10-year-old girl was hit head-on by a car while crossing the Oberneuhofstrasse in Baar on Monday evening. The girl was seriously injured in the accident, and had to be taken a hospital in a neighbouring canton after receiving initial medical care from the Zug Rescue Service.

As the Zug police announced, the exact course of the accident is still unclear. Any persons who can provide information on the course of the accident are asked to contact the Zug Police Operations Centre on 041 728 41 41 . The accident occurred shortly after 4:45 p.m. on Monday evening, 13 June.

In particular, the woman who carried the injured child off the street and initially looked after her is being sought as a witness. According to the announcement, she had left the scene of the accident before the emergency services arrived.
